Description

Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse objects and ETL/ELT pipelines. You will build scalable data models and optimize transformations using DBT and advanced SQL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Snowflake schemas, tables, stages, and warehouses.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Stored Procedures.
• Implement scalable data models (star, snowflake, or Data Vault).
• Develop, test, and deploy transformation models using DBT, including tests and documentation.
• Write efficient SQL for transformations and analytics, performing tuning for speed and cost.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud data warehousing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and mandatory SnowPro Core or Advanced certification.
• Solid proficiency in DBT, including testing, lineage, and model deployment.
• Advanced SQL development and tuning skills.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and pipeline design.
• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Cortex experience for analytics acceleration, AI/ML-assisted workflows, or advanced transformations.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
