Description

You will design, develop, and maintain data models, views, and schemas in Snowflake while optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions. You implement and manage ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, optimize performance using clustering and tuning, and enforce data security and governance. You collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, perform data quality checks, and support CI/CD implementation for data pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Snowflake data models, views, and schemas.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and UDFs.
• Implement and manage ETL/ELT pipelines for multi-source data ingestion.
• Optimize Snowflake performance via clustering, caching, and query tuning.
• Enforce data security, access control, and governance using best practices.

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Matillion, Talend, dbt, or Airflow.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts including star schema, snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of data integration techniques and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet).
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python for data engineering tasks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
