Description

You will own the Snowflake data platform, ensuring performance, security, and reliable data integration.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, including query execution, resource usage, and storage costs.
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions to maintain data security and compliance standards.
• Support and manage data integration processes, covering loading, transformation, and extraction workflows.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, resolve bottlenecks, and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations and generate regular performance reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or database development.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling and performance tuning.
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake architecture, features, and capabilities.
• Expert knowledge of SQL and Snowflake-specific query optimization techniques.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation.
• Demonstrated experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration processes.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience working in AWS cloud environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
