Description

You will own Snowflake data warehouse development, management, and complex data pipeline engineering.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Snowflake data warehouses, optimizing virtual warehouses, storage, and compute separation.
• Write complex SQL queries for performance optimization using Snowflake’s specific dialect.
• Implement data security measures including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), data masking, and encryption.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines using Python and cloud services like AWS Glue, DMS, and S3.
• Integrate Snowflake with Tableau, Salesforce, and third-party APIs while ensuring data governance compliance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Snowflake data warehouse development and data engineering.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, cloning, time travel, data sharing, and micro-partitioning.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and services such as AWS Glue, DMS, S3, and Appflow.
• Strong skills in data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and data governance frameworks.
• Experience integrating with Salesforce and managing data from multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with JIRA, GitHub, and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Skills

• SnowPro Advanced Architect or SnowPro Data Engineering certification.
• Experience in the affordable housing sector or public benefit programs.
