Description

You will design and optimize Snowflake-based data pipelines and SQL queries for proof-of-concept use cases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and tune SQL queries for large-scale structured and semi-structured data.
• Build streaming data pipelines using Snowpipe, Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or Apache NiFi.
• Collaborate with the lead architect to iterate solutions and plan for scalability.
• Document technical decisions and identify opportunities for automation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SQL development and data engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Snowflake data warehousing, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Strong understanding of ELT/ETL development practices.
• Experience with streaming data tools such as Snowpipe, Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or Apache NiFi.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating Snowflake with cloud data lakes (e.g., AWS S3).
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
