Description

You will manage compute and storage, administrative tasks, and detailed architecture within Snowflake. You own the data platform's performance, security, and availability.

Responsibilities

• Implement Snowflake best practices for load operations, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Manage data governance using secure views and dynamic data masking for column-level security.
• Administer multiple accounts across the organization and manage data replication for sharing and failover.
• Design and develop secure object access using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Utilize Time Travel and Cloning for recovery methods and agile development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data development or administration.
• Expertise in Snowflake performance-tuning methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with RBAC and data security models.
• Deep understanding of DDL operations and fundamental database objects.
• Knowledge of transaction and concurrency models and DML considerations.
• Experience managing compute and storage within Snowflake architecture.
• Ability to implement data replication for failover scenarios.
