Description

You will design and develop scalable Snowflake solutions, including Snowpark features, to meet project requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Snowpark features in Python and contribute to open-source libraries.
• Manage Snowflake objects including role-based access controls, virtual warehouses, tasks, Snowpipe, and streams.
• Optimize query performance and stored procedures.
• Implement data governance using secure views, dynamic data masking, and row/column-level security.
• Maintain technical documentation and configure user/query log analysis with email alerts.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience with cloud databases.
• 2-3 years of direct experience with the Snowflake platform, Snowpipe, and Snowpark.
• Proficiency in Snowflake, data warehousing, and data migration.
• Expertise in writing Snowflake procedures using SQL, Python, or Java.
• Strong command of SnowSQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Snowflake performance tuning and real-time monitoring.
• Ability to implement data integration technology solutions.
• Experience with AWS platform services.
• Strong database architecture and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake Certification.
• Knowledge of Big Data tools and distributed computing platforms like Spark or Dask.
• Experience with security protocols such as SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OpenID, or Kerberos.
