Description

Architect and implement large-scale data and analytics solutions on the Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Design and operationalize ELT pipelines using Databricks, Python, and SnowSQL.
• Translate mapping specifications into data transformation designs and code following best practices.
• Monitor Operational Level Agreements regarding warehouse health, performance, cost, and data quality.
• Perform code reviews to ensure optimal execution patterns and adherence to standards.

Required Skills

• 3+ years designing and implementing production-grade data solutions on MS Azure Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, and Stored Procedures.
• Proficiency in Data Warehousing concepts including OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data Modeling.
• Working knowledge of MS Azure configuration items in relation to Snowflake.
• Experience with Databricks for data ingestion and processing.
• Strong skills in UNIX and Python scripting.
• Ability to lead and drive performance for local and offshore developer teams.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 3 years of technical architecture experience with large-scale data warehouse solutions.
• Experience in the Finance or Banking industry with knowledge of securities and banking products.
