Description

Design and maintain scalable data solutions on the Snowflake cloud platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient data models, schemas, and database objects based on business requirements.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake Streams, Tasks, and Time Travel for structured and semi-structured data.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
• Manage data loading and unloading between external stages, handling JSON and XML parsing.
• Implement data security and governance using RBAC and access policies while monitoring virtual warehouse performance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Data Warehousing concepts including Facts, Dimensions, SCD, and Historical/Delta Loads.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, core features, and performance tuning.
• Experience implementing CI/CD processes using Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Proficiency with JSON and XML data parsing and handling.
• Ability to analyze source systems and translate requirements into robust data models.
• Experience with client interaction and technical communication.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowpark, Snowflake Cortex, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Python, Unix/Bash scripting, dbt, or Airflow.
