Description

You will design, build, and implement the enterprise cloud data platform using Snowflake, balancing architectural leadership with hands-on development.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end Snowflake solutions, including landing zones, staging layers, DataMarts, and semantic layers based on Medallion architecture.
• Develop, test, and deploy Snowflake SQL scripts, stored procedures, tasks, and materialized views to meet business requirements.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating data from sources like Azure Blob Storage, CRM, and ERP.
• Drive architectural standards for Snowflake development, data ingestion, and transformation across engineering teams.
• Define and implement data governance, security, and access control strategies using Snowflake RBAC and masking policies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in data architecture, engineering, or developer roles.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience architecting and optimizing Snowflake solutions.
• Strong SQL proficiency for complex query writing and performance tuning.
• Expertise in ELT/ETL frameworks, specifically DBT.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, including Azure Blob Storage.
• Deep understanding of modern data architecture principles (Medallion architecture).
• Proven ability to implement data governance and security controls on Snowflake.
