Description

You will manage and optimize data warehousing environments using Snowflake and Azure cloud services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Snowflake data models, including roles, databases, and schemas.
• Execute data ingestion and manage warehousing, architecture, and administration.
• Perform SQL performance measurement, query tuning, and database optimization.
• Develop code using Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Apply Snowflake features such as Time Travel and Zero-Copy Cloning.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud warehouse.
• 4-5 years of experience in Data Management specializing in Analytical data warehouses.
• Proficiency in SQL and ETL processes.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and Azure Data Factory.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and cloud computing environments.
• Ability to code in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with data migration and optimization within Snowflake.
• Understanding of DW lifecycle, including design documents and unit test plans.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Tableau and BI tools.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Lean, or Kanban.
