Description

You will design and operationalize large-scale data analytics solutions on the Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse hosted on Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL pipelines using Databricks, Python, and Snow SQL to move data into and out of the warehouse.
• Translate mapping specifications into production-grade code for data transformation strategies.
• Build and automate data pipelines using cloud-based testing and documented implementation patterns.
• Provide production support for data warehouse issues, including load and transformation errors.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to execution standards and optimal performance patterns.

Required Skills

• 5+ years designing and implementing production-grade data solutions on Snowflake and Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on development with Snow SQL, Snow Pipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in Snowflake features including Time Travel, Zero Copy Cloning, and Data Sharing.
• Experience with Databricks for data processing and pipeline development.
• Strong understanding of Data Modeling, including OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, and Facts.
• Working knowledge of UNIX scripting and Python for ETL and utility functions.
• Experience managing MS Azure configuration items related to Snowflake.
• Ability to work with Snowflake internals and integrate them with reporting technologies.
• Proven ability to solve problems and design solutions in environments with unclear requirements.
