Description

You design and maintain large-scale data analytics solutions on the Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse using Microsoft Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop ELT pipelines using Databricks, Python, and SnowSQL to ingest and extract data.
• Translate mapping specifications into production-grade code for data transformation strategies.
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines with cloud-based testing and clear documentation.
• Provide production support for data warehouse issues, including data load and transformation problems.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and optimal execution patterns.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing production-grade data solutions on Microsoft Azure and Snowflake.
• Hands-on development with SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, and Zero Copy Cloning.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and script development.
• Experience with Databricks for data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake internals and integration with reporting technologies.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts including OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data Modeling.
• Working knowledge of UNIX scripting and MS Azure configuration items.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to design solutions in environments with unclear requirements.
