Description

Architect and implement large-scale data solutions on the Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse within an MS Azure environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and operationalize ELT pipelines using Databricks, Python, and SnowSQL.
• Develop UNIX and Python scripts for extract, load, and transform processes.
• Translate mapping specifications into data transformation designs and code.
• Provide production support for data loading and transformation issues.
• Monitor Operational Level Agreements for warehouse health, performance, and cost.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience designing production-grade data solutions on MS Azure and Snowflake.
• Hands-on proficiency with SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, and Time travel.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts including OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and data modeling.
• Experience with Snowflake utilities such as the Optimizer, Metadata Manager, and data sharing.
• Ability to automate data pipelines using cloud-based testing.
• Competency in UNIX scripting and Databricks configuration.
• Experience managing and driving performance for local and offshore developer teams.

Preferred Skills

• 3 years of experience in the Finance or Banking industry.
• Expertise in code optimization and large-scale technical architecture.
