Description

Design, implement, and operationalize large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse within Azure environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop ELT pipelines using Databricks, Python, and SnowSQL to move data in and out of the warehouse.
• Translate mapping specifications into data transformation designs and code.
• Provide production support for data warehouse issues, including data load and transformation problems.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and optimal execution patterns.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing production-grade data solutions on Snowflake and Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake features: SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, Zero Copy Cloning, and Data Sharing.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and utility script development.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks for pipeline development.
• Experience with data modeling, including OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, and Facts.
• Working knowledge of MS Azure configuration items related to Snowflake.
• Experience with UNIX scripting for ETL processes.
• Ability to automate data pipelines using cloud-based testing.
• Experience working with Snowflake stored procedures and the Metadata Manager.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data ingestion and processing pipeline best practices.
