Description

Architect and operationalize large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse within MS Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement EL pipelines using Databricks, Python, and SnowSQL to extract, load, and transform data.
• Design data models using OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, and Facts methodologies.
• Monitor Operational Level Agreements regarding warehouse health, query performance, data quality, and cost.
• Provide production support for data load issues and perform code reviews to ensure optimal execution patterns.
• Lead and drive performance for local and offshore developer teams.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience designing and implementing production-grade data solutions on MS Azure Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities: SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, and data sharing.
• Proficiency in Python and Databricks for productionized data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Working knowledge of MS Azure configuration items in relation to Snowflake.
• Experience developing scripts in UNIX and Python for ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake internals and integration with reporting technologies.
• Proven ability to design solutions in environments with unclear requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technical Science.
• 3 years of experience in the Finance or Banking industry with knowledge of securities and banking data footprints.
