Description

You will lead the design and implementation of scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions and enterprise-level applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models using Dimensional modeling, Star Schema, and Data Vault architectures.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL and PL/SQL queries and User-Defined Functions (UDFs).
• Build and monitor ETL/ELT processes to integrate Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools.
• Manage Snowflake security, including role-based access control, privileges, and data protection compliance.
• Perform performance tuning by managing workloads, optimizing schema design, and sizing virtual warehouses.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience designing data solutions specifically using Snowflake.
• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Strong proficiency in ETL/ELT processes and techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Dimensional modeling, Star Schema, and Data Vault.
• Experience using profiling tools like Alteryx.
• Ability to identify upstream and downstream data impacts and propose remediation options.
• Proven track record of solving system performance and scalability issues.
• Experience using version control tools for managing code and models.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and maintaining documentation.
