Description

You will design, develop, and optimize cloud-based data solutions using Snowflake.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain end-to-end data pipelines in Snowflake, ingesting data from on-premises and cloud sources.
• Utilize Snowflake Scripting to implement procedural logic for complex data transformations.
• Develop and maintain scripting for incremental data updates, SCD Type 2, and raw data transformations.
• Optimize Snowflake storage, compute usage, and query performance for cost efficiency.
• Review existing data solutions and develop new algorithms to ensure performance, data integrity, and security.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Snowflake/Snow SQL Developer.
• 8+ years of experience in SQL development and data transformation.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake Scripting and data warehouse architectures.
• Proficiency with Python, DBT, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience preparing and modeling data for Tableau and Power BI.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices.
• Ability to work independently in a contract environment.
