Description

You will design and implement data solutions using Snowflake, Python, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage data pipelines using Snowpipe, Streams, and Dynamic Tables.
• Develop complex logic using Snowpark, Python, and stored procedures.
• Optimize database performance through SQL tuning and troubleshooting.
• Implement Change Data Capture (CDC) and manage data movement between Snowflake and other RDBMS.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments to advise on multiple project requirements.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of relevant experience in database development.
• Expertise in Snowflake DB, including SnowSQL, Snowpipes, Streams, Views, and Procedures.
• Advanced Python skills with hands-on experience in Pandas, Snowpark, and Boto3.
• Strong SQL expertise in joins, analytical functions, and performance tuning.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
• Proficiency in RDBMS environments such as OracleDB and MS SQL.
• Hands-on exposure to AWS cloud services.
• Experience with real-time or near real-time data setups using Apache Kafka.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DBT.
• Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Exposure to AWS services including S3, Lambda, and Athena.
