Snowflake Developer

You will architect, design, and operationalize large-scale data and analytics solutions on the Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Write complex SQL queries against Snowflake for data manipulation and analysis.
• Develop Python scripts for Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT) processes.
• Build ETL pipelines using Python and SnowSQL.
• Manage data movement and processing using Snowflake utilities including SnowPipe, Tasks, Streams, and stored procedures.
• Gather and analyze system requirements to drive data transformation and translation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total professional experience.
• At least 5 years of software development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience specifically in Snowflake development within AWS environments.
• Proficiency in Snowflake utilities: SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, and Optimizer.
• Strong SQL skills for complex querying and data manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data engineering tasks.
• Deep understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concepts, and modeling structure principles.
• Experience with OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and data modeling.
• Knowledge of Snowflake metadata management and data sharing.
