Description

You will build and maintain scalable data solutions using the Snowflake platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Snowpark features using Python to support project requirements.
• Manage Snowflake objects including Virtual Warehouses, Tasks, Snowpipe, Streams, and role-based access controls.
• Optimize query and procedure performance through continuous tuning and monitoring.
• Implement data governance and security via secure views, dynamic data masking, and row/column-level security.
• Develop technical documentation and implement user/query log analysis and alerting.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Cloud databases.
• 2-3 years of direct experience with Snowflake, including Snowpipe and Snowpark.
• Proficiency in Data Warehousing, data migration, and data integration technology solutions.
• Strong expertise in writing Snowflake procedures using SQL, Python, or Java.
• Advanced knowledge of SnowSQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with AWS platform services.
• Ability to perform POCs for new Snowflake capabilities and document best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Big Data tools and distributed computing platforms like Spark or DASK.
• Snowflake Certification.
• Experience with security protocols such as SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OpenID, or Kerberos.
