Description

You will manage and optimize Snowflake-based data infrastructure, focusing on ETL reliability, access control, and operational automation.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor alerts and troubleshoot ETL failures across Snowflake and AWS environments.
  • Triage user requests via Jira and ServiceNow, resolving access control issues in Snowflake and Tableau.
  • Manage DevOps release cycles, verification, and runbook maintenance.
  • Develop automation utilities to streamline operational tasks and reduce manual intervention.
  • Participate in scrum sessions and handle rotational on-call shifts for production support.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering or platform architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing and administration.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and Pyspark.
  • Experience managing access controls in Tableau and Snowflake.
  • Proficiency with ticketing systems, specifically Jira and ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Matillion for ETL development.
  • Ability to triage and resolve Slack-based user requests efficiently.
