Description

You will manage end-to-end Snowflake cloud data warehouse implementations and complex data pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement Snowflake data modelling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, and complex stored procedures.
• Manage advanced features including resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, and query performance tuning.
• Utilize zero-copy cloning, time travel, and data sharing features to optimize data workflows.
• Execute data migrations from RDBMS to Snowflake cloud environments and build processes for metadata management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complicated data pipeline issues proactively.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Snowflake Administration or Development.
• Expertise in Snowflake SQL, SnowSQL, and SnowPipe.
• Proficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Python for Big Data model techniques.
• Experience with Unix Shell Scripting.
• Deep understanding of dimensional modelling, star, and snowflake schemas.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL data stores.
• Experience with AWS S3 or Azure Blob storage.
• Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• CI/CD in Talend using Jenkins and Nexus.
• GIT repository management and TAC configuration.
