Description

Design and maintain ETL pipelines using Python and SnowSQL to manage data flow into the cloud data warehouse.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build data ingestion and processing pipelines using Python and Snowflake SnowSQL.
• Deploy Snowflake components including virtual warehouses, schemas, views, and zero-copy clones.
• Collaborate with data analysts to map requirements and implement IBM DataStage jobs.
• Enhance operational stability by implementing automation and auto-healing mechanisms.
• Participate in peer design reviews and maintain runbooks to drive automation efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ETL development and data engineering.
• Expertise in Snowflake design and development.
• Proficiency in SQL and SnowSQL.
• Strong experience with Python.
• Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL data stores.
• Practical knowledge of star and snowflake dimensional modeling.
• Ability to work off-hours for releases, testing, or critical bug resolutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Airflow.
