Description

You will own the engineering, maintenance, and optimization of data pipelines using Snowflake.

You will manage Snowflake databases, schemas, roles, and warehouses while optimizing compute resources. You will support and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, handling data ingestion from cloud services, APIs, and databases. You will optimize queries, implement clustering and partitioning, and manage warehouse sizing for cost efficiency. You will enforce security policies, including encryption, masking, backups, and disaster recovery procedures. You will troubleshoot data integration issues and advise teams on best practices for Snowflake usage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in DBA or Data Engineering roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as DBT.
• Skills in performance tuning of data workloads.
• Experience with CI/CD practices.
