You will manage and optimize Snowflake data infrastructure, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable data operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Snowflake databases, schemas, roles, and warehouses to maintain system stability.
• Design and support ETL/ELT pipelines using DBT and Azure Data Factory for data ingestion and transformation.
• Optimize query performance through clustering, partitioning, and warehouse sizing to balance cost and speed.
• Enforce security policies, including encryption, masking, backups, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to troubleshoot issues and implement best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration or Data Engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture and management.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for complex queries and performance tuning.
• Experience with Python for automation and scripting tasks.
• Proficiency in building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• SnowPro certification.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
