Description

You will own the engineering and maintenance of data pipelines within the Snowflake environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Snowflake databases, schemas, roles, and warehouses, optimizing compute resources.
  • Support ETL/ELT pipelines, ingesting data from cloud platforms, APIs, and databases.
  • Optimize queries, implement clustering, and manage warehouse sizing for cost efficiency.
  • Enforce security policies, including encryption, masking, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Partner with engineers and analysts to troubleshoot issues and implement best practices.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years in DBA or Data Engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Performance Tuning.
  • Experience with Data Modeling principles.
  • Working knowledge of ETL/ELT Pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools like DBT.
  • Experience with Python scripting.

Preferred Skills

  • SnowPro certification.
  • Experience with Terraform or BI tools like Tableau/Power BI.
