Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Snowflake.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and REST-based APIs.
• Implement data modeling and query optimization within Snowflake.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code following established standards.
• Optimize service performance and ensure high availability in production environments.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across development and production stages.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer with backend expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake data warehousing, including query optimization.
• Proficiency in Java-based frameworks and Maven.
• Experience designing and developing REST-based services and Microservices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and AWS.
• Experience with Jira APIs.
• Working knowledge of unit testing (JUnit) and integration testing.
• Experience with at least one database: Mongo, MariaDB, RabbitMQ, Postgres, or other NoSQL servers.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
