Description

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable Snowflake data pipelines within an ITAR-regulated environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient data models in Snowflake to support compliance and performance requirements.
• Develop ETL processes using IICS to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Configure and optimize Snowflake features including clustering, materialized views, and automatic scaling.
• Implement security controls and encryption mechanisms to ensure all data processing adheres to ITAR regulations.
• Monitor pipeline performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize queries for efficiency.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering and business tools.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data retention, clustering, materialized views, data shares, and clones.
• Strong proficiency in ANSI-SQL and core SQL for daily code optimization.
• Experience with Python and ETL development.
• Proven experience with IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services).
• Knowledge of GitHub, ControlM, and Redwood orchestration.
• Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake certifications such as SnowPro or Snow Architect.
• Prior experience working in ITAR-regulated environments.
