Description

You will lead the development and implementation of Snowflake as the core data warehouse.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize solutions using Snow SQL and Stored Procedures.
• Implement ELT patterns utilizing Snowflake features like Tasks, Streams, and Snowpark.
• Perform complex SQL tuning and troubleshoot performance issues in the data platform.
• Execute data migration projects from on-prem RDBMS environments to Snowflake on AWS.
• Integrate and manage data pipelines using ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, Matillion, and DataStage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data development.
• Expertise with Snowflake Cloud DW and Snow SQL.
• Proficiency in Python, including Data Frame and PySpark coding.
• Hands-on experience with ELT processes.
• Experience with cloud environments, specifically AWS.
• Familiarity with ETL tools: Informatica, Talend, Matillion, and DataStage.
• Demonstrated ability in complex SQL tuning and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data migration from on-premises to cloud.
