Description

You will lead development efforts for the Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse, owning data pipelines, migrations, and performance tuning.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake features.
• Implement complex SQL logic, Stored Procedures, Tasks, and Streams.
• Execute data migration processes from on-prem RDBMS to Snowflake on AWS.
• Code ETL/ELT solutions using Python and PySpark.
• Troubleshoot and tune query performance within the Snowflake environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a Lead Developer role with Snowflake.
• Expert proficiency in SnowSQL, complex SQL, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark for data transformation.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage.
• Strong understanding of Data Engineering principles.
• Proven ability to schedule and manage data pipelines.
• Familiarity with data migration from on-prem RDBMS to cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL.
