Description

You will lead the design and implementation of data solutions on the Snowflake platform, ensuring scalability and performance across AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize Snowflake data pipelines using SQL, functions, procedures, streams, and tasks.
• Design scalable data models and leverage core Snowflake architecture principles for efficient storage and compute.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Python and tools like Informatica or IICS.
• Integrate Snowflake with AWS core services, specifically S3 and EMR, for seamless data flow.
• Mentor team members on Snowflake best practices and data engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake SQL, including user-defined functions, stored procedures, streams, and tasks.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, data loading, and platform design.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly S3 and EMR.
• Practical experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or Informatica Cloud (IICS).
• Ability to work independently and lead technical decisions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Informatica Data Cloud (IDMC).
• Knowledge of data governance and security within Snowflake.
