Description

You will lead the design, development, and architecture of scalable data solutions on the Snowflake platform, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of Snowflake schemas, tables, views, streams, tasks, and Snowpipes.
• Define and enforce best practices for performance optimization, including warehouse sizing, clustering, and query tuning.
• Own Snowflake security architecture, implementing RBAC, role hierarchy, data masking, and row/column level security.
• Perform root cause analysis for job failures, execute data analysis and fixes, and manage Month End Closing Activities.
• Oversee promotion of code across environments using CI/CD practices and support AI/ML model operationalization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Snowflake, including SQL, performance tuning, and security features.
• Strong background in Data Engineering, specifically ELT/ETL patterns, data modeling, and CDC concepts.
• Experience with data engineering tools such as Talend or dbt.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and Snowpark (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with ETL and automation frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Insurance domain (P&C / Specialty Insurance).
• Exposure to AI/ML pipelines, including feature preparation and model lifecycle support.
• Familiarity with Python ML libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy) from a data engineering perspective.
