Description

Lead the design, build, and configuration of Snowflake-based data solutions, serving as the primary point of contact for architecture decisions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement Snowflake projects, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Design and configure advanced features including data sharing, clean rooms, virtual warehouses, and security controls.
• Tune SQL queries and manage compute/storage resources for efficient data processing.
• Implement data lake solutions on Cloudera Data Platform and integrate with Hadoop ecosystem tools.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in the data domain.
• 3-5 years of dedicated experience leading Snowflake architecture initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake internals: micro-partitions, pruning, zero-copy clone, time travel, and resource monitors.
• Proficiency in Snow SQL and complex query performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with data virtualization tools such as Starburst or Denodo.
• Experience building data lakes on Cloudera Data Platform.
• Strong understanding of network, data, and role-based security methods.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem integration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management.
