Description

You will design, build, and maintain cloud-based data solutions using Snowflake and Matillion. You will own the migration of data from Teradata, manage ELT pipelines, and ensure system stability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage Snowflake environments, including Multi-Cluster Warehouses, Virtual Warehouses, and Snowpipe.
• Design and implement ELT processes and orchestration pipelines using Matillion.
• Migrate Teradata objects to Snowflake, applying database administration and data-sharing best practices.
• Troubleshoot Matillion server issues, perform version upgrades, and integrate with diverse data sources.
• Optimize workflows for efficiency, scalability, and reliability across environments.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud architecture and advanced features (cloning, time travel, Partner Connect).
• Proficiency in Matillion for ETL/ELT development and job management.
• Proven track record in data migration projects, specifically Teradata to Snowflake.
• Experience with AWS as a cloud infrastructure component.
• Deep understanding of ETL processes and data engineering principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data pipeline issues and optimize performance.
• 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or similar roles.
