Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Data Engineer with strong experience in extracting and transforming data from Oracle Fusion Finance applications. This role will be responsible for designing scalable data pipelines, optimizing data models, and enabling high-quality analytics across finance systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Snowflake to support finance and business reporting needs
• Extract and integrate data from Oracle Fusion Finance modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, FA)
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to ensure efficient data ingestion and transformation. DBT skills are important
• Develop and maintain robust data models (dimensional and normalized) for analytics and reporting
• Write complex, optimized SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with finance, analytics, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all pipelines
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues
• Document data architecture, pipelines, and transformation logic

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, SnowSQL, etc.)
• Proven experience working with Oracle Fusion Finance data and schemas
• Expertise in SQL and advanced query optimization
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, dbt, Matillion, or similar)
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
• Experience designing and implementing data models (star schema, snowflake schema)
• Familiarity with data integration techniques and APIs for Oracle Fusion

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of finance business processes and reporting requirements
• Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
• Experience with data governance and security best practices
