Description

Own the administration, security, and performance of the Snowflake platform within Azure and AWS cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Snowflake infrastructure, including security policies (RBAC, encryption), audit controls, and cost governance.
• Optimize warehouse usage, storage, and query performance to ensure platform efficiency.
• Automate platform management and provisioning using Terraform, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Develop and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure-as-code deployments.
• Troubleshoot incidents and resolve platform integration issues across Azure and AWS services.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall data warehouse development or administration experience.
• At least 3 years of recent, hands-on experience specifically with Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and JavaScript for automation and scripting.
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation and state management.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, including RBAC models and cost optimization strategies.
• Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Solid working knowledge of both Azure and AWS cloud services.

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification.
• Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Architect Certification.
