Description

You will own the Snowflake platform engineering lifecycle, ensuring secure, performant, and automated data infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Snowflake environments, including warehouses, resource monitors, failover setups, and performance tuning.
• Implement governance patterns such as RBAC/ABAC, masking policies, row access policies, and tagging.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake object deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and platform components using Terraform and IaC practices.
• Manage Apache Airflow deployments, ensuring DAG reliability, observability, and secure integration with cloud identity.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in cloud, data, or platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience operating Snowflake in production, including performance optimization.
• Proficiency with AWS and Azure cloud services, specifically S3/ADLS, IAM/AAD, and networking.
• Strong knowledge of Apache Airflow orchestration and DAG development.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Proven expertise with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tooling.
• Experience with secrets management, platform automation, and operational dashboards.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks platform knowledge (Unity Catalog, clusters).
• Background in Snowflake cost optimization and FinOps practices.
