Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and load data into the Snowflake Data Cloud.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python to load data into Snowflake.
• Build and manage data transformations using Snowflake SQL, Python, and Snowpark.
• Ingest data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud storage (S3, Azure Blob, GCS).
• Orchestrate workflows using tools such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory, dbt, or Control-M.
• Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure SLA compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Proficiency in Python for ETL development, including Pandas, PySpark, and Snowpark.
• Strong SQL skills, specifically within Snowflake.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of data modeling, including star/snowflake schemas.
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance.
