Description

You design, build, and optimize data pipelines in Snowflake using Python.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Python to load data into Snowflake.
• Build and manage data transformations using Snowflake SQL, Python, and Snowpark.
• Ingest data from databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud storage (S3, Azure Blob, GCS).
• Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, caching, and warehouse sizing.
• Orchestrate workflows using Airflow, Azure Data Factory, dbt, or Control-M.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python for ETL, including Pandas, PySpark, and Snowpark.
• Expert SQL skills, specifically within Snowflake.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with data modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of data security, governance, and RBAC.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Control-M.
• Background in data security and governance.
