Description

You design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and load data into the Snowflake Data Cloud using Python and cloud-native technologies.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Snowflake SQL, and Snowpark for efficient data transformation.
• Ingest data from diverse sources including databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud storage (S3, Azure Blob, GCS).
• Implement data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, caching, and appropriate warehouse sizing.
• Orchestrate workflows using Airflow, Azure Data Factory, dbt, or Control-M and manage CI/CD deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Python for ETL development (Pandas, PySpark, Snowpark).
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake SQL and the Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Experience designing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices, Git, and DevOps workflows.
• Knowledge of data security and governance, specifically RBAC and masking policies.
