Description

You will design and enforce security frameworks specifically for Snowflake environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce Snowflake security best practices including RBAC, masking, encryption, and network security.
• Architect secure data sharing, access controls, and data governance models.
• Integrate Snowflake with enterprise security tools such as SSO, IAM, SIEM, and DLP.
• Monitor and audit Snowflake environments for threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps.
• Collaborate with data engineering, cloud, and security teams to implement secure pipelines and deployments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years in data platform or cloud security architecture.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake security design and administration.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture and security features.
• Strong understanding of IAM, role-based access, encryption, and key management.
• Proficiency with SSO, IAM, SIEM, and DLP integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud security frameworks across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Experience with security monitoring and automation in data platforms.
