Description

Lead Snowflake implementations and complex data migrations from Teradata and AWS S3.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute migrations from Teradata and AWS S3 to Snowflake.
• Design and manage Snowflake architecture, including databases, schemas, and resource monitors.
• Perform query tuning, SQL performance measuring, and database tuning to optimize processing.
• Manage data ingestion from disparate sources such as XML, JSON, and CSV.
• Build analytical solutions and models while performing root cause analysis on existing models.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Snowflake warehousing, architecture, and administration.
• Proven experience with Teradata to Snowflake and AWS S3 to Snowflake migrations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and cloud-based technologies (AWS or Azure).
• Deep understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and metadata management.
• Experience with data lakes, multi-dimensional models, and data dictionaries.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Ability to code in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience managing data from Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata.
• Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, and ETL tools with cloud-driven skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating Snowflake with third-party tools.
