Description

Own the technical leadership and architecture for Snowflake data platform initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end migration of data platforms from AWS to Snowflake.
• Architect and design Snowflake data warehouse solutions based on business needs.
• Ensure performance tuning, security, and cost optimization adherence in Snowflake deployments.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to define data requirements.
• Document architecture, workflows, and migration strategies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture, including 5+ years specifically with Snowflake.
• Proven experience executing AWS-to-Snowflake migration projects.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and Data Modeling.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and Lambda, and their integration with Snowflake.
• Snowflake certifications (SnowPro Core, Advanced Architect, or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, Spark, or DBT for data transformations.
• Knowledge of BI/Analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
