Description

Design and implement analytics solutions using Snowflake to deliver business insights. Lead application architecture and serve as the primary technical point of contact.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and configure Snowflake applications while driving AWS architecture enhancements.
• Orchestrate data flows using DBT to build transformation logic across RAW, Curated, and GOLD layers.
• Manage data migrations from RDBMS platforms (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, SAP HANA) to Snowflake.
• Execute technical delivery reviews, resolve architecture issues, and manage migrations from on-premises/Azure to AWS.
• Own end-to-end RFP/RFI processes, client presentations, and solution workshops.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture and Snowflake implementation.
• Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, and complex stored procedures.
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake advanced concepts: virtual warehouses, micro-partitions, pruning, zero-copy cloning, time travel, and resource monitors.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, loading, and transformation.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities: SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Tasks, Streams, and Data Sharing.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse structures: ODS, ETL, OLTP, OLAP, Star, and Snowflake schemas.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of data governance, RBAC setup, data quality, and monitoring/alerting.
• Competency in source code management and CI/CD tools.
