Description

You will design and implement scalable data architectures on Snowflake, focusing on performance tuning, security, and cost optimization.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain Snowflake solutions, integrating AI features like Snowflake Cortex.
• Design and optimize data ingestion pipelines using Snowpipe, Snowpipe Streaming, Kafka, and ETL/ELT tools.
• Implement dimensional data modeling and ensure robust data governance through RBAC and masking policies.
• Tune performance and manage costs for large-scale data workloads.
• Collaborate on SAP functional requirements to align data models with business needs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, including Snowpark (Python/Java), SQL, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with data ingestion tools: Fivetran, Informatica, Matillion, dbt, and Kafka.
• Proficiency in dimensional data modeling and data governance (RBAC, masking policies, data sharing).
• Understanding of Apache Iceberg tables, external tables, and open table formats.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
