Lead Snowflake operations and development, aligning onshore and offshore teams to deliver scalable, secure data solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Snowflake accounts, roles, and permissions using best practices.
• Implement Alation Data Catalog for metadata governance and data product discovery.
• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Snowflake Streams, Tasks, and Procedures.
• Provide architectural guidance and mentor engineers on coding and DevOps standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake development and administration.
• Advanced SQL for complex query writing and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, virtual warehouses, and resource monitors.
• Proficiency in Time Travel, Cloning, Streams, Tasks, Stored Procedures, and Data Sharing.
• Expertise in role-based access control, data masking, and encryption.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and cloud data modeling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation using Python and Shell.
• Familiarity with Alation Data Catalog features.
