Description

You will provide tier one triage for information security incidents and occasional after-hours IT issues as the first line of contact for the Security Operations Center.

Responsibilities

• Perform tier one triage for information security incidents and IT issues.
• Participate in incident handling processes including discovery, analysis, verification, tracking, containment, and recovery.
• Coordinate with other teams to remediate detected incidents.
• Execute incident response coordination, escalation, and notification procedures.
• Communicate security intelligence to key personnel.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with security technologies including firewalls, IDS, policy management, logging, and monitoring.
• 4+ years of experience with antivirus, vulnerability assessment, and patch management.
• 4+ years of knowledge regarding common and emerging attack vectors, penetration methods, and countermeasures.
• 4+ years of experience managing security processes and best practices.
• Ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences.
• Ability to solve complex problems and provide oral and written instructions.
• Proven ability to balance confidentiality, integrity, and availability when solving business challenges.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of conflict resolution and incident escalation.
