Description

You will serve as a senior tier two incident handler managing the full lifecycle of information security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Own information security incidents from discovery through to recovery and post-incident analysis.
• Lead incident handling processes including verification, tracking, containment, and coordination.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to remediate detected security threats.
• Communicate threat intelligence and incident status to key personnel.
• Provide tier two triage for information technology issues and security events.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security operations or incident response.
• Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), CompTIA Security+ (Security+ CE), or CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CSA+).
• Deep understanding of firewalls, IDS, policy management, and logging/monitoring.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment, patch management, and antivirus technologies.
• Knowledge of common and emerging attack vectors, penetration methods, and countermeasures.
• Ability to resolve complex issues requiring analytical thought and technical judgment.
• Proven ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
• Strong skills in incident escalation and conflict resolution.
• Capability to balance business challenges with confidentiality, integrity, and availability requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within multidisciplinary team environments.
