Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SIEM detection rules and correlation logic.
• Monitor and investigate security incidents and alerts.
• Lead incident response activities, including containment and recovery.
• Perform log analysis and forensic investigations.
• Design and implement security automation and SOAR playbooks.
• Improve detection quality and reduce false positives.
• Monitor and improve SOC performance metrics.
• Document incidents, investigations, and response activities.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams.
• Support continuous improvement of SOC operations.

Experience Required:

• 7-12 years of experience in SOC, Incident Response, or Detection Engineering.
• Strong experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring.
• Experience in incident investigation and response.
• Knowledge of detection engineering and alert tuning.
• Experience with log analysis and forensic investigations.
• Hands-on experience with SOAR and security automation.
• Experience improving SOC KPIs such as MTTD and MTTR.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in regulated or financial environments is preferred.
